I hope so. I don't want him turning into Kate Pearson because he can't.

I saw the commercial for next week's episode and even I, who hasn't watched since episode 3 or 4, thought "that is going to be a goooood episode!" I think it's going to be a new story line about Sean dealing with the feelings of loss after Glassman dies. I liked the character.

yes, it does look very moving....this show has gotten so much better as it goes...very much enjoy the writing.

Sure hope they don't write his character off though....I love Glassman.

He's had enough loss. :-(

What a good episode last night! I laughed, I cried, I cheered when Dr. Melendez told the "b itch" doctor that she was going to kill a patient one day and he hoped she had support like Shaun does.

I cried when Dr. Glassman got the results from the second opinion. Giggled when Shaun moved the chair, then the coffee cup and then the book over beside Dr. Glassman.

That was the sweetest ending there could have been! Shaun hugging and saying "I love you" and "l love you more".

On a side note, I watched the first half hour of JAWS 2 and I noticed the deputy of Brody's was a 40 year younger Dr. Glassman! He sure really looked better 40 years ago than the make up he wore in the dance scene with his late daughter, Maddie. JAWS 2 was made in 1978, 40 years ago. I could see who the deputy "grew up" to be.

What did everyone think of the season finale?

I thought last nights episode was excellent. Very sad but interesting to watch. I have always loved seeing the relationship between Shaun and Dr. Glassman. Watching how someone with challenges like Shaun has deal with that type of news was interesting. I have never met someone like Shaun so this show has been a great learning experience for me.

I thought the two of them walking into that office was a great ending. I personally hope Dr. Glassman is around for a long time because his relationship with Shaun is a big part of the show.
