Last night's show made the father look like some type of fanatic. I hope they are not going to make that part of his personality a theme.

Don't you get it? Even though this show didn't revolve around Sheldon, the events of this episode lead him to discover his eidetic memory.

So? They could have handled it in a more entertaining manner. Awful lot of tedium to present that one thing.

Agree. Look up "endearing" in the dictionary, and there is a picture of "Young Sheldon" next to it.
