Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, but young Sheldon's dad played Leonard's high school bully on one episode of TBBT. He was Speckerman, who got drunk and slept it off in the boys' apartment.

This show is really hitting its stride. It's quickly become one of my favorites.

Same here. It may beat out Big Bang Theory for me.

I happen to watch BBT last night because there was nothing on so I watched Sheldon last night, wasn't bad so I set the series recording back up. Will try to watch what we're missing after only seeing 2 episodes.

We're enjoying it. It isn't must-see TV. It isn't a show we set aside time to watch. But if it's on, we tune in. It's comfort food for the brain.

The show is totally growing on me also. Last night when Sheldon didn't get the joke, it reminded me of my young grandson. He doesn't get jokes and takes things quite literal. His same age cousin totally gets jokes and she even dishes out the sarcasm. You can see that the grandson is linear in his thinking. He plans on being a doctor and his brain is definitely wired for it.

Anyway, I had to laugh and even mentioning it to hubby, he could see the similarity and laughed also.

I adore Mee-maw

Loved the sister "I'm still happy".
