Ten Days in the Valley premieres tomorrow night (Sunday) on ABC. I think they said that it will be a 10 episode mini-series. My guess is that each episode will cover one day. It stars Kyra Sedgwick as a mother whose daughter is kidnapped.
I have no idea whether it will be any good or not.

I was looking forward to a Kyra Sedgewick show, but this seems to be a woman bashing show. Single mom is a drug addict with a soon-to-be-ex-husband, stressful job, sister who can't get pregnant, ex-husband sleeping with woman's assistant, missing child, can't do anything right. The premise had a lot of potential for twists and turns, but the writing wants to focus on the failings of the single mom. I'm really disappointed, but I'll watch next week to see if it improves any.

Agree. They made her character an uncaring biitch and an irresponsible mother. Also, a druggie drinker....
I'm giving it one more shot, but it better become more than one-dimensional as it was in the first episode.
I'm intrigued. I think I'll stick with it. I don't think she was uncaring. I think she's been through this before and deep down she truly believed her daughter was with the father...again. When she realized what was really going on...that's when the panic sunk in.
I liked it enough to make it to the end of the pilot. I was a little disappointed to see yet another TV trope get rolled out... the ex is secretly having an affair with the assistant. Can't there ever be a show where people aren't sleeping with each other?
[I don't say this from a prudish POV, but from a "I'm tired of the same old crap" point of view]
The other thing that almost had me kill it part-way thru was the overall depressing story line. Between the despair of her job, to the agony of losing a child, to the way everyone treats everyone else, I found it challenging to stick with it.
Eps #2 will tell. If it gets interesting, then great. What I don't want to see is episode after episode of red herrings.
