When Sammy Davis Jr kissed Archie Bunker unexpectedly on All in the Family.
After he complimented Archie for not calling him the N word or the C**N word. Just saw that episode the other day on AntTV. They're running a very long All In The Family marathon. The show was always funny, but a 5 day marathon is a bit much.
My most favorite "racial moment" was on Seinfeld when Elaine and her boyfriend each thought they were ethnic. (She thought he was biracial and he thought she was Puerto Rican.) When they realized that they weren't, he whined, "Wait...we're just a couple of white people?" I never laughed so hard before in my life.

I was shocked by that marathon. Usually, it's only for the day but it lasted all through the weekend. Very weird. I don't think I've ever seen a marathon that lasted this long before.

Yes, LOL. Love that episode. That and the "Hand Model" episode are my top two favorite ones.
In keeping with the thread, there was another funny racial Seinfeld episode. Jerry is excited to meet his blind date, Donna Chang, because he thinks she's Chinese, but she turns out to be a Jewish woman whose last name is Changstein. And he gets all pissed and accuses her of shortening her last name to trick people into thinking she's Chinese.
