There's a lab right there? Have we seen that before and it didn't stick with me?

This is such a good show.

Some are saying he cut the corpse in order to experience what the killer might be feeling. I am not up on the kid other than he has BIG problems and Laszlo has been helping him, the kid is now playing with animals instead of wanting to hurt them. After the last episode, I am going to watch it all over again for things I missed. Tonight is Monday, can't wait!

Tried this but just couldn't keep with it
Good actors and I know the book was critical success--tried it and couldn't finish either
Was looking forward to it as sort of American "Ripper Street"

Ok, thanks. Guess the kid was shown to show us that Lazlo can help some people. Yes, Monday!

The movie is "7 Days in Enteebee" or something like that. Lazlo is in it.

That exchange in the woods between John and Lazlo was absolutely marvelous.
But of course, it should have been taken for the foreshadowing that it was.

;(

Yeah. That Connor and Brynes sure need to get what is due them! Their henchmen too. I hope Cyrus(?) and that little boy that got knocked out are okay. Mary is bad enough.

ONE MORE EPISODE!!! I am glad Cyrus didn't get a chance to kill Connor. Maybe Connor will meet a more horrible end. Cleanly getting killed is too good for him. Can't wait to see that ex-chief in jail. I sure hope that kid gets rescued or it is a good guy who opened the door.

I don't even go out for a smoke when this is on!

As much as I am looking forward to knowing the end, I will miss this show. Best darned drama/thriller I have seen in a looong time.

I've been enjoying it too. Such a high quality production! It doesn't seem to be getting much chatter and attention, and I don't know why.

I read the book so long ago that I don't remember what happens. Probably the rest of you already picked up on all the parallels between the Alienist and the murderer, but I didn't really until last night.

This show's both exciting and interesting. I actually shrieked out loud at one point last night, and scared the dog! Looking forward with both excitement and sadness to next week's final episode.
