The first show I remember being on there that prompted me to write them as I saw it as the beginning of the end was Toddlers in Tiaras. I couldn't believe that TLC was airing that piece of drivel.
Remember when TLC was educational? Now it has three shows about polygamy, a show about morbidly obese people, another one glorifying someone for being obese, and shows about people rushing into marriage. Whatever happened to the old TLC? Does anyone else miss it?
Yes seems like everything that was somewhat GOOD on tv has become worthless..... Yes NDak I do miss it!!! (And I miss how good GAME SHOW NETWORK was also)

When Bravo first aired & there were not that many other cable channels, it was the station of foreign films. I loved it because these are movies that I would not
ordinarily be able to see. They had great movies from places like Sweden , France and Brazil .
I'm not sure what happened , but now I think they converted the channel to having shows like shows like Cops and Pit Bull Felons.

I remember watching actual surgeries on the old TLC. They had perfect timing for my wife's (at that time) family. A week after her mother had surgery for an aneurysm on her brain, they showed that actual surgery.
