I recently discovered I had METV and have started recording "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", I was only about 6 years old their first time around LOL......I am loving them!
Watching "Night Gallery" too. I know I probably watched them before, way back when, but they are like new to me now.
Watched a "Kolchak - The Night Stalker" too. I always loved that show, Darren McGavin played his part so well, will probably watch more of them too.
About 2-3 years ago I remember reading that Showtime was going to reboot In the Heat of the Night, but I haven't heard anymore so I guess it's dead.

Interesting, I hadn't heard that.
It looks like it may still be a possibility, though I think that it might be very hard to recapture the honesty and naturalness of the original series.
I started getting into X Files and Supernatural this year. They are somewhat reminiscent of Fringe, which I still miss. Hopefully Counterpart will turn out to be decent; it started out okay.
Law and Order SVU. Didnt care much for the original L&O so I never saw an episode of SVU until last year when i started getting into the reruns which are on almost constantly on some channel or another. Its a much better show with more interesting characters and stories than the original.
The Big Bang Theory. I had watched the pilot and a few more episodes when it premiered in 2007, and dismissed it as ridiculous. Started getting into the reruns when they showed up around 2011-12, saw a much deeper show than I had at first glance, am a big fan now.
Orange Is The New Black - when you watch a show on Netflix anytime other than the first airing, its a rerun. Best drama in recent times, as good as maybe better than Breaking Bad.
Breaking Bad. I had caught a few of the original run in the first few seasons, but not continuously and not enough, seeing them all in order is a must for this kind of show. I gave up on it at some point. Kept hearing the buzz and finally caught them all during a marathon showing a few years ago.
Mike and Molly is another show that I never watched in its original run. I couldnt imagine watching a show the basis of which is two overweight people.
Umm, why not? Does that offend you for some reason? At least it's more realistic, compared to all the ridiculously attractive and skinny people on TV shows.
And FYI: Roseanne was basically the precursor to this, and (imo and many others) one of the best sitcoms of our time.
I'm always late to the TV party. I always think that I don't/won't care for TV shows but then when forced -- or bored enough -- to try, I change my tune.
Me too, lol. I resisted "Breaking Bad" for sooo long... but I'm actually glad I waited, so I could binge-watch the whole series in a matter of months! It's now ranked among my favorite shows ever.
Others I caught after the fact (and liked):
Lost
Six Feet Under
The Dark Half
The Office
Parks & Recreation
The IT Crowd
Arrested Development
... and more.
