I dont know about Survivor (never watched it) but I'm sure that this season's selections of DWTS stars had a lot to do with its lower rating.

I DO watch Survivor and it is getting old and boring. I don't think Probst has done it any favors since he became more than just the host.

DWTS I think, has "pulled" one too many rugs out from deserving "stars" like Hinchcliffe and in a roundabout way the audience.

The original fan base was, I am sure, older people who would enjoy seeing people learn how to dance ballroom dancing. That has changed, they are trying to appeal to the younger crowd now, there is almost no real ballroom dancing, and who are these "stars"???

It used to be "must see tv" for me. Now, I don't care if I watch or not. What I will miss the most is the "old gang" here. Which, there are not many left either.

I agree, tami -- I miss the times when there were a lot of people commenting on the DWTS thread.

A perfect score in the 3rd round? Wow! There are some incredible dancers this time!

I agree there are some really good dancers this time around. But I doubt they deserved perfect scores this early in the season. And I'm just jaded enough to think the judges were told to give those high scores for publicity.

I must say that, since Derek left the show, I think Witney is, without doubt, the best choreographer of all the pros. Not only are her moves/steps great but they're also very well-designed to showcase the star's abilities.

So glad, and not at all surprised, to see that
Spoiler
Tenasha
was sent packing.

Spoiler
She may have been an awesome dancer but, obviously, a lot of viewers thought it wasnt fair for her to be competing -- and the producers do take votes and forum posts (today's equivalent of water-cooler talk) into account when deciding who to send home.
