Um..... yeah.
Sounds weird, but shouldn't sex, one of the most profitable and undeniable industries in teh US, be legalized and regulated rather than made illegal and chased around?
I am not crying for or against morals here, but trying to stop people PAYING for something as natural a eating and sleeping, is liek trying to make water flow uphill. You will ALWAYS be fighting it. From states like (I believe it was )Oaklahoma who not only have outlawed the sale of pornography (or was it production) but yet are one of the largest PURCHASERS of the same, we can see that turning our public dress of propriety for all the world to see does not deny the stuff we all wear underneath (to varying degrees).
So how would this be able to be rectified to make the worlds oldest profession something that does NOT abuse women and can, oddly enough, become an actual income earner for the US.
If so much money is made on things like prostitution, wouldn't it be better to make sure people did not get HURT and that the money made was owned by the few that had the criminal connections to make it so?

The article says he forced them into prostitution.
This a quote from another article too. Seems like he took advantage of poor, maybe homeless, women.
"One witness testified that Harrison beat or threatened them to keep control and that he threatened to throw one through a hotel window when she would not engage in sex with two customers.
In addition to forcing the victims to work as prostitutes, Harrison made them work in and around his houses, requiring them to haul trees, lay sod and paint, according to testimony."

Most stuff is blocked here, so I did not click the link!!!
The question would be this, if it were LEGAL, would there be any reason for people to do things like this? Would an abusive pimp be able to make money off of this kind of thing with legal brothels relatively easily available?
I am sure there would still be some illegal activity, but I do not know if we would have so much abuse....
