You two called it, and the reasoning was spot on. Especially NBP and your analysis of the relationships.

We have a winner in the office pool! I think the producers saying it was a "major" character was misleading. I don't consider someone who was on once or twice a season to be a major character.

EXTRA spoiled it for me with their intro. I haven't watched it yet.

Thank you. Two things I found hilarious were her manner of death after interacting with a pack of hungry wolves, falling through the ice and being swallowed by a whale. Then when Lily kept putting Dee Dee dolls around the house for Gloria to find.

My wife and I finally watched last night. We were both very disappointed in the episode. In fact I think I slept through a few minutes of the middle. We thought the script/storyline was weak overall and neither of us felt any investment in the Dede character who only appeared 7 times in 232 episodes over 10 years.

Modern Family was the 4th highest rated sitcom on TV last season.

Pretty darn good for a show that's been on over ten years.

Guess I will put this here since it is more recent than the MF thread.

Renewed for an 11th and final season

Good - it is time to say good-bye. The kids are mostly grown and the storylines aren't very interesting anymore IMO.
