Australian ABC series about forensic pathologist played by Ioan Gryffudd--
He can't get away from the autopsy table
His accent not really Australia--not sure about his backstory--not much revealed in first 3 episodes
He is always excellent and has some good co stars not that familiar to me--and I have seen some Aussie shows/movies

Set in Brisbane I think
He likes old jazz--on vinyl records when he does the autopsies--makes some nice music choices
Lives on older sail boat
Story lines have been interesting
He has troubled relationship with his daughter--and his ex wife
Will be S2 - it will film soon-
And this will only show on Hulu...

Yes I’m going to give it a try. It’s on my Hulu watchlist. I’ve like him in other series too.

I love that actor. He did a series about Horatio Hornblower that my late hubby and I just loved and a network series him coming back to life over and over again. Maybe that was the title. Judd Hersh played his father. Very nice show.

Yes--the unkillable show had him playing a forensic pathologist in NYC--
And Judd Hirsh was his adopted son I think who was far older than his unaging dad...
I enjoyed that show as well--CONNIE Rubirosa (?) from Law and Order was the detective who almost discovered his secret...

And I thought he was great as Horatio--I love those books too
Gregory Peck did the Hornblower movie long time ago

I mentioned this show in the "Hulu" thread.
He is introduced to someone as a Brit in the first or second episode, so that's why he doesn't have an Australian accent.

Anyway, I am enjoying it. I recognized the actress who plays "Maxine" from "The Outpost" and the actress who plays "Soroya" from "Top of the Lake."

He tells someone he is not English but Welsh--which he is

Finished the series--
Quite a cliffhanger for S2
Most of the long-running I anticipated
But the individual episodes has some nice complexity

Can someone with Hulu confirm if S2 is available now? If so, I will reinstate my subscription.

The only news is "mid to late 2019." I can't find any evidence of a firm date, and it's not there yet.

Waiting eagerly, though. Best new series I've seen in a long time.

Yes—I watch Hulu quite a bit—rewatching The Good Wife series right now
And I have not seen it come up as new entry...
