Anyone remember the Disney Afternoon? It was a block in the 80s and 90s that aired cartoons. It had such great shows as Ducktales, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Gargoyles, and Darkwing Duck.

So, what are your memories of Disney Afternoon? What were your favorite cartoons?

I loved watching this block in the late 1980's and 1990's. My favorite Disney Afternoon show of all time will forever be Talespin. I love fantasy and adventure and escapism. Did you see Rebecca Cunningham's apartment?! How much is she paying for that?!

Hopefully with the success of the new Duck Tales series other DA shows will get remakes or revivals. I would love for Gargoyles to come back.

Disney tried a similar block in the late 1990s and 2000s with Disney's One Too. I didn't find the shows on that block as appealing save for Season 4 of Digimon and Sabrina The Animated Series.

I was in my late teens going into my 20s at the time but it didn't stop me. I'd record the whole 2 hour block and watch when I got home from school. Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles were my absolute favorites. Honorable mention to Aladdin and Talespin. The new DuckTales has been pretty good so far and as mentioned before I hope it leads to others being rebooted. Just not Shnookums and Meat. That was god awful
