^ Dexter was not a mini-series, it was a regular weekly program.

The two best mini series have been Masada and Lonesome Dove. I remember really liking Rich Man/Poor Man when it was originally shown, but I watched it again recently and it just seemed like an ordinary soap opera to me which got dull toward the end.

Although don't you think The Thornbirds , one of my favorites Minnie series would have been frowned upon in this day and age ,didn't father Ralph fall in love with Maggie when she was just a young child ,he kind of stalked her all the years she was growing up ? Just sayin!

The one with Kevin Costner as William Hatfield? That was excellent.

Does the 2003 Battlestar Galactica miniseries remake count, even though it went on to become a whole series?

Childhood's End, the TV adaptation of the Arthur C Clarke book.
