Apparently this zany show had it's last show on Sunday night.....on a channel in Britain I assume.

I will be watching PBS for the reruns of the ending of the 3 year show. I enjoyed how quirky it was, funny, poignant. There are spoiler comments on dailymail.com if you want to learn about the ending....it details about each character and how WWII came into play by making their stay in Corfu too dangerous to continue living there.

I believe season 4 just finished airing on ITV in the UK. It takes them right up to 1939 and the outbreak of WW2 which interrupts their life in Corfu.

The final episode seems to have been well received. I am sure S4 will air on PBS but have not heard when.

The Durrells is now over in the USA on Masterpiece Theater PBS. I enjoyed this show, this family and all the characters on Corfu. I will miss them all.

I'm not sure if its on another thread. I know they were forced back to England as WW2 was about to break out. Larry the oldest son remained and was working as a. Spy. At least the storyline went that way.
