The first episode of Cobra wasn't bad. I will probably watch the 2nd episode.

I didn't care for Flesh and Blood, despite the terrific and recognizable cast. None of the characters were likeable. Cobra was better but it seems like Irwin Allen has returned from the grave.

Finally, something I liked. Cobra was an improvement over Van der Valk and Flesh and Blood. Granted, that's a pretty low bar but I'll take it.

There's nothing Master about Masterpiece right now.

Cobra was pretty good but there was a little boy in the writer's room who loved SFX.

No kidding! That just pushed the credibility waayyy out there for me.

Wonder what the criteria is for being part of Masterpiece? Seems they've wandered a long way off from what I thought it was supposed to be. The other thing is that they have all these stellar actors in such mediocre productions. What's with that? I'm always glad to see them but they deserve better than that.

I wasn't impressed with Flesh and Blood either, unless they pull something startling out of their hat. Otherwise, it will be on but mostly background noise with an eye every so often.

Cobra was ok but not something I would regret if I didn't catch any more episodes.

Watched the first episode of Cobra. Good. Does it continue being good or am I wasting my viewing time?

A suggestion for those that are fans of shows that are smartly written and suspenseful, I suggest taking a look at Line of Duty (we view on Acorn). Twists and turns you never know who the good guys are. The only issue I have is the ending of some series seem rushed, but overall a excellent series.

Also, another +1 for Unforgotten.

That house in Eastbourne, though, holy cow!

Did you like Cobra? Robert Carlyle has aged.
Well, he's aged but he looks a heck of a lot better then Stephen Rea in Flesh and Blood. Speaking of aging well, remember that Francesca Annis was in Lynch's Dune in 1984 and also had an 11 year relationship with Ralph Fiennes beginning in 1995. Dang, she looks good for 75!

Cobra is a bit puzzling. All the electric is out due to a EMP from a solar flare, yet all the phones and internet and cars and planes are all working... except for the one plane that crashed due to the solar flare somehow that didn't affect any other plane and crashed days ahead of any other electrical damage.

Still, if you like lots of explosions and fires, it is entertaining.

There seems to be multiple storylines in Cobra. There is the daughters friend in a coma due to an overdose. Then there is the marital problems with the other couple. There was the hotel fire, that was in relation to the power outage. Other than that the story jumps around so much. Then there is the prison break. What happened to all the planes after the crash?

Evidently In not taking to this show either. Really these latest MT Programs are not up to the usual quality.
