Going:
Madison exits on August 15th.
Ian’s last day is August 22nd.
According to Soap Opera Digest, another veteran character could be on the outs. The character was supposed to be killed off but the story was allegedly scrapped. However, their future still remains uncertain. No name has been released.

Coming:
Eileen Davidson will be returning to the role of Kristen Blake. She has not been seen in the role since 1998, when her character was left in a harem while her double was left floating in a pool. Look for her to make her return to Salem on October 11th.
Greg Vaughan was cast as Eric Brady. He began shooting scenes yesterday.
Ralph Waite is back as Father Matt on August 17th. He’ll share scenes with Nicole.

Well, finally! It's been a long two weeks, even though I enjoyed watching some of the Olympics. Out of all the comings and going, I'm glad to see #2 leaving, as well. Can't stand that character.
