How did they get a show
I just don't understand how Denise Richards ( Charlie Sheen ex ) and the Lohan Mom got a show. I guess anyone who wants a reality show gets one.

I'd say that's a good bet. I mean look at Tiffany Pollard, a.k.a. "I Love New York". That's a prime example of a woman with NO redeeming qualities whatsoever, getting rich off of doing NOTHING.

"I Love New York" is a VH-1 spin off reality show, of its "Flavor of Love 2" where washed up rapper Flava Flav was trying to find his dream girl. "New York" (Pollard) is probably the most 'memorable' bimbo on the show, who really does think that everything is all about her, and that she is some kind of princess that everyone should fall all over. So after TWO attempts at Flav's heart,(FOV 1 and 2) and losing, VH-1 gave this twit her own show. She's had TWO seasons, and is going for a third. She's accompanied by her 'mother' (I doubt the two are related, but you never know) who goes by the name "Sister Patterson"....yeah...right.
Its serious Jerry Springer stuff.

I can understand Denise Richards getting a show. Like it or not, she's easy on the eyes and has had an interesting go of it. Dina Lohan??? Good Lord almighty, why??? Talk about Queen leach.

Can anyone tell me what Denise Richards has done. I think she was on a soap I watched and she looks so much like the actress that plays Victoria on Y&R. Dina Lohan was on the View this morning. She says the show is to show that their family isn't nuts and clear some things up. When asked if she parties with her daughter she didn't really explain only that she was at night clubs because that is where the press wanted them or something.

These people get their own shows because they are willing to take their clothes off, use foul language, get drunk, and are willing to show us all, their exaggerated ( mostly made up fabrication, just for the sake of dramatics) disfunctional lifestyles.
Simple as that.

Denise Richards was a bond girl and in Wild Things, where she notoriously hooked up with Neve Campbell. Dina Lohan should try out for Real Housewives of NYC. She'd fit in perfectly!
