If I were eating that potato dish every night or even a few times a week, then yes, it would be a problem. But I believe in moderation. I LOVE chicken fried steak, but I certainly don't eat it every day, or even every week. It's a treat. And I enjoy it that much more when I do have it.
Surely people aren't really just rotating 6 or 7 dinners around each week? Monday spaghetti, Tuesday pork chops, etc?
That was a big thing back in the 50s and I know some people who still do that.

I like canoli with or without chocolate but never tried them fried, especially after they were filled. Doesn't it melt the cheese filling?
