Well, that sucks. I really wanted to see Stringz win. I don't understand why America embraces extremely overweight black people like Neil E. Boyd and the screeching chick Emily (and even Reuben on AI) but if you had an obese white person on there, someone would have said something about the weight and they would never have made it close to the finals. Sorry but that is the truth. I still remember when Simon said something to Josh (the Marine) about his weight but never uttered a word to Reuben. WTF??? Why the double standard? Anyway, I wouldn't pay to go see his show.

Austinsmom, I don't recall Neil E. Boyd being black. Queen Emily was, yes, but not him (or I'm seriously missing something, and I watched every show). And, hello, but the Nuttin' But Strings guys were black too. What's your point?

Congrat's to Neil, good for him he has an amazing voice.

I wanted Eli but oh well. Hopefully all of the top 5 parlay this into something.

While I didn't watch it, I was thrilled that Neal E. Boyd won. He's been my favorite since the beginning.

Found out, surfing the Internet, that Nuttin But Strings will be playing at the Montbleu Casino/Resort in Lake Tahoe, NV on Dec. 30, 2008. The have also put out a CD and plan on going on Tour, cities not yet announced.
Also, watching watching a little of Dr. Phil and a Harris Tetter (grocery store) commercial came on with litte 4 yr old Katlin singing.
By the way, Queen Emily didn't appeal to us either.
