Just remember folks, half the population has an IQ under 100. And yes, some of what you see in HGTV is staged (they also use reaction shots that aren't contemporaneous with what is being discussed at the time).

i just watched it last night on my DVR. interesting, however, i would've liked to see the folks who got the creative financing....did they not want to be interviewed for the follow-up?

and what is really wrong with having formika countertops, of course granite is better, but they seem to make it like a crime if heaven forbid one has laminate......but don't tell anyone, because I have, Nooooo, please.....don't make me say it..... please, no I can't.......

OK, I admit it I have laminate.............................shoot me!

my countertops are made out of an old bowling alley floor and a wood tabletop we found at a salvage store! gasp!
