Agree JFR. I give Mike Rowe a great deal of credit for avoiding the California pampered puppy loving scheme. I like "after the catch" as much as the "deadliest catch."
I did that last year when they produced Smash Lab. I see that Shark Week (another great series) is coming up at the end of the month and this series is returning.
On a sad note, we only have two more episodes of Deadliest Catch. After this, it's Shark Week and hopefully some new shows.
So many oppies, so little time. Bring everyone home same and pray for Phil on the Cornelia Marie.
I saw After the Catch last night with Phil explaining his illness. I feel so bad for him and his boys. I can't imagine being told you have so little time left in this world. Keep him in your prayers and if you don't pray then keep him in your thoughts.

i love that show. it's good to hear things about them. like phil making bird houses and andy doing the horse thing. who would ever guess those tough guy captains do those kinds of things in their off time. that's really cool learning about them.
i can't beleave that the maverick didn't know they had a hole in the side of the boat. hello, if the tank isn't filling up then you have a problem. i can't stand that keith coburn. he's such a jerk to his guys and his brother. also i hope phil is ok since they didn't say anything about him...
