Black Gold on trutv...
Did anyone catch it last night? Another job I would not to do!! What a dirty and dangerous job that is! That new Viking rig is not doing so well is it? Just like a car, you should never buy it the first year it is out! Too many bugs in the system. That dude who owns two out of the three rigs is a pretty safe bet that one of his rigs will win wouldn't you say?
Nice to see that oil production is starting up again in West Texas. When I was down there in the 80's most all the oil wells I saw were capped off and not working anymore. It's about time.
Speaking of oil, has anyone else heard that Mobile/Exxon is selling off at the corporate level? I was told that yesterday and I was amazed. I wonder who/which country will buy it if what I was told is true. I wonder who ownes it now...at the bottom line.

The crew on what, Big Dog or Viking had to work a double? That means if you have to work a double, you actually end up working a triple?? That is not very saftey consious(sp). How could anyone work 24 hours straight and not have an accident? Did you see how that rigger almost fell trying to fix something? I thought he got hit in the head with something then too. Great show.

well, like they said they don't make any money if there not drilling. look at deadliest catch, those guys stay up for 24 to 36 hours straight. i don't think that little guy peanut is going to make it as a rigger. he's been screwing up to much. i know one thing, that is one job i would not want. it seems like it's going to be a good show.

You can watch the re-run in HD on one of the other stations, but I forget which one.

Peanut is a slacker. He is a new dad and too immature to be a team player. He is putting himself ahead of the job and that don't cut it in the real world. This is NOT a union job where you can slack off and stay employed. I'm surprised they don't have a truck full of "daylaborers" available on standby to help with some of the menial chores when someone does not show up for work.
