I saw this for the first time the other day. What a horror show. And that's only the botched face lift that Kathie Lee Gifford is sporting...The rest of it is worse!

Yes! I totally agree with you on her and here's that link to the other thread that might have mentioned this subject. At least my post did. You get a chance to see the poll and only 5 others agreed with my on Kathie Lee. Here's my post on that very subject.

I think the poll's still open, so some of you that agree with the OP here can cast your vote for Kathy Lee Gifford.

I call her Kathy Mee Gaffawed. I know she's made a pact with the devil because she's still around! Actually, I bet she's bought her way back into tv with all her charitable contributions, appearances, etc, etc, etc... I know that's the real motivation behind her Cassidy House and Cody franchises.
She needs to ****, thanks for that new one. I'd love for her to implode or better Hoda melting around her. That will be well worth the torture we're enduring now.

now that i'm going to work earlier, i don't get to see it - i mean don't have to endure the pain of watching it and i've noticed that hoda is on the olympics part in the morning and she's in beijing, so what's going on in the 1 millionth hour now that she's not there?

Somebody must like her, or she wouldn't have gotten put back in that spot. However, TMZ showed how nutzy she acts when they got film of her at The Ivy restaurant in L.A. she was as annoying as she on TV; talking nonstop, chittering about (relatively) nothing, skipping and jumping from one subject to another. Either she is on speed, or heavily into her 'hormonal-menapausal' time. Which I would guess the latter, and some of the former.

LOL, I think Kathy Lee just has way too much to say and has to interrupt to finish her thoughts.

That is technically called "bi-polar" or else she has serious menopausal HORMONE problems. Take a chill pill go see your internist, quick fast and in a hurry. Wonder what her kids are doing now? they are not little tots anymore, and probably are just as irritated at her antics as the public is.

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. I have HATED Kathie Lee forever. The TODAY show IMO has tanked since Katie Couric left. I don't care for Meredith in the mix, loved her on The View, but she just doesn't seem to fit in, she tries to hard. She is also not set up for interviewing one on one.

Anne Curry don't like her either! She seems very sweet, but something about her just rubs me the wrong way.... sad I don't even tune in the morning anymore. I used to hate to miss this show.

Ann Curry to me is over-bearing and condescending.

Meredith is awful so much so that we don't even watch anymore-she's out of her element.

KathyLee is obnoxious and annoying (same with Kelly Ripa).

Natalie Morales and Hoda are the only 2 who are professional.

I've written the Today Show about this...

I like Natalie, Al, Meredith, Natalie, Ann, Matt, and Hoda. I enjoy the Today Show quite a bit.

But, I just can't manage to watch the Hoda/Kathie Lee stuff for more time than it takes for Kathie Lee to say something either obnoxious, unprofessional, about her or her family, or somewhat demeaning to Hoda... which is usually all of about 30 seconds after the show starts.

I wrote the Today show today and respectfully asked them to put an end to Kathie Lee's role on the show. This is not just my request/complaint. My friends share the same thoughts... and at the hair salon, the clients (and owner does too). They turn the channel every time the Hoda/Kathie Lee hour comes on. (and they complain).

I'm shocked that the show has been on for months. Surely the producers see what we do. That Kathie Lee has a very dominant personality; that she is infactuated with talking about herself and her family (who no one really cares to hear about); that she has an overly inflated view of her opinions; that she somehow believes that her very dry and often obnoxious 'jokes' are in any way humorous; and that she seems to either be unaware or unconcerned that she routinely demeans Hoda Kotb.

And surely the producers must consider, as I do, that Hoda appears to be much too professional and/or kind-hearted to respond in-kind (direspectfully) to Kathie Lee. It's evident that Hoda is often clearly appauled and/or embarrassed. Her face tells the story, even though she attempts to laugh it off or change the subject.

What is this "Hoda-woman"? How demeaning. And unbelievably childish. 10 year old girls aren't this childish. What the heck??

In my opinion, Hoda is a terrific professional... and I really feel sorry for her because it seems that Kathie Lee is bringing her down to a level that makes our mouths drop in bewilderment. It's awful. (I'll bet that Hoda was thrilled to get over to the China -- away from Kathie Lee -- and be able to resemble a professional again).

When writing the Today show, I noted that if they had paired Kathie Lee with any of the other hosts -- Ann or Natalie... or Meredith, they'd end up with much the same result... a catastrophe. Not because of Ann or Natalie or Meredith. (This horrific hour has nothing to do with Hoda personally). I can't imagine Kathie Lee fitting in well as a cohost with any of the other hosts because she appears to be far too into herself and her family to realize that anyone else's opinions, thoughts, or ideas are worth hearing or valuing.

Again... my advice to the Today show? Put an end to this painful hour - and bring Hoda back with the others. Kathie Lee is a disaster. She has taken Hoda's reputation as a professional down a notch. And minimized the Today show's number of viewers. Viewers like me are repulsed.

Did anyone see the Tuesday (9/30) show where Kathie Lee gave Hoda a pink necklace for Breaast Cancer Awareness Month. It was lovely and I wanted to see where it was sold. Does anyone know?
