Ooooh, juicy gossip!!!! No, I didn't hear it, but I'm excited (don't like her). We should keep our ears open (however, I think they said the same thing like 2 seasons ago, when she supposedly had that affair with the former contestant who suddenly wrote a book, etc.)
Didn't Olivia Newton-John look good last night? She's so pretty.

Yeah, I doubt they'll replace Paula anytime soon... even though she acts like she's on something (a different substance each show, it seems ).
I thought Olivia Newton-John looked pretty, but VERY botoxed and/or face-lifted. Pardon me if I'm wrong, but I think she's been nipped & tucked quite a bit. Reminds me of a quote from "The First Wives Club" - "If I give you one more face lift you're going to be able to blink your lips!".

Poprocks - Isn't that the girl who sang Like a Virgin (what the @#$! was she doing?!?!?!)....oh, wait, I know who you're talking about, she was real skinny and looked 12 with a big head and yard long nails... she was wacked out too!

Yea!! the girl that looked like the was 12. She hit some notes that made my eyes water. I didn't think that was possible.

Yes, he was awesome! Definitely my pick for the night, not only based on his voice, but also his personality. I actually have a theory about background singers, so humor me on this... especially with singers today, I've always felt the background people usually have more REAL talent. Pop stars in particular are 1/2 look and 1/2 voice, whereas their back-ups are 100% voice. So while they might not have the "it factor", the raw talent is often much better. How often do you see overweight and/or ugly singers with amazing voices, standing in the shadow of a model-looking mediocre pop star? I swear, it seems way too common these days... okay, I'm done ranting. The guy from the show actually was pretty adorable, so my theory doesn't fully apply to him (LOL).
As for the worst this week, how about that girl named - I think - Phuong? I felt badly for her at first, since she seemed genuine, but then I began to wonder if it was an act. Either way, as Simon would put it - "What the HELL was that???" There was also a young black woman (don't remember her name) who sounded like a cat fight, and literally hurt my ears... I'm ready for the real singing to begin, how about you?

And the girl in red that got on her knees and was flirting with Simon (I loved her I thought she was so funny blowing kisses and stuff), she wasn't good, but for some reason I really excpected her boyfriend to come in after and blow her away because he looked like he wouldn't. Well, he didn't LOL, but I got a kick out of them, cute funny couple. I don't really remember many other people from last night, it wasn't as interesting for me.

Speaking of couples, what about the ones from Compton (the guy with diamond teeth)?? They were a riot!! The funniest part was when she tried to make a "big announcement", and kept screwing up... "uhhh, we're the next couple from America, uhhhh, to sing, I mean to get married". Classic.
Oh wait, is that the couple you're talking about too? I don't remember what she wore, but I know she had a crush on Simon...

I thought the young man, who was a backup singer, was quite good! Probably the best one, last night. And, although he wasn't "official", I thought the older gentleman was very sweet, bless his heart, who sang for his lady, who had passed away. Fortunately, he was actually able to carry a tune, which made it nicer to hear.

No, I don't think you're wrong. She definitely looks like she had work done, but she always had a natural beauty so that still shows through more than compared to some botox/face lift victims (as in, hmmm...Joan Rivers ). I remember that part in FWC, funny movie!!!

Yes, that's who I'm talking about!!! How hilarious was she?! You're right, that message had us rolling on the floor...they were really funny those two!
CelticLady - I loved that older man, he was so sincere and so sweet, I was crying like a big jerk (I think my husband may have been doing the MoMark/Dullnboring version of crying...you know, clear the throat, make some weird sounds LOL). He was completely genuine, he should be everybody's favorite just for doing what he believed in....I'm also glad Simon was so warm to him too, that made it even better to witness
