I am not one to jump on the trendy bandwagon. I usually get into something after the trend long passes.
When Seinfeld came out, I just graduated high school and couldn't relate to the characters whining about relationships. Fast forward to this year, and at 36, I started watching it and love it. I think that Elaine Benes is quite something.
Another show that got my attention this year is the Avengers from the 60s. What a surreal show with sci-fi, espionage, and Diana Rigg. There would be no Austin Powers without the Avengers.
I love the old shows. I never got into the Survivors, Idol, and all the modern stuff.
Any scifi/fantasy show...no interest in Buffy, X-Files, Star Trek, or anything like that
Tila Tequila, Rock of Love or anything similar
Conan O'Brien
Big Brother
Scrubs
Any medical drama (unless you count Nip/Tuck, which I love)
Brothers and Sisters
Ally McBeal
Cheers
Frasier
Anything that ever aired on the CW/WB (except for Gilmore Girls)
South Park

I forgot about Lost (caught bits and pieces, seems like the most slow-moving, pointless thing ever!) and Prison Break. And Oz. I don't really get the appeal of a show set in prison? Sexy inmates or no...
