pam is/was pasty and lipless, boring personality and a loser. karen made it up to boss of her own branch while the best pam could do is cry about her parents broken marriage and get a saleswoman position which she wasnt even good at, and didnt really earn. the only reason she got out of being a secretary is because she quit to join the michael scott paper company and michael owed her. Karen's body >>>> pam's as Kevin Malone will tell you. also pam has weird teeth

Is this how you think about people in real life?

April 12th's episode was horrid and predictable
April 19th was reasonably good with Andy's outrage and Ryan and kelly's romance

This show is completely off the rails. It's almost painful to watch. It's like a terrible sequel to a great movie. It's like the Godfather III. It's like Porky's II, The Next Day. It's like The Exorcist II.

It's just awful and awkward. I keep waiting for it to recover but it inexplicably gets worse every episode. Who in their right mind thinks that Nellie is a positive addition to this show? It was already bad and she makes it 1000X worse.

The Ryan on the horse thing has almost done it for me. I can't believe I'll quit watching The Office but that may happen.

This is what happens often when a show jumps the shark, they start randomly adding characters and chasing far fetched story lines.

Both "Robert" and "Nellies" characters are lame and did nothing for the show.

When Steve Carrell left the show, they should have circled the wagons around Dwights character, and pushed forward, and not gone the "gimmick" road that shows keep doing.

One week it's bearable, one week it's so bad it's embarrassing, occasionally there's a spark but overall it really should be canned if some decent writers can't be assembled to salvage it. I can watch the original series over and over but would have no desire whatsoever to watch any of the current crap again! The cast must be tied into contacts to stop them from just not showing up for work!

You know what, I missed the last two episodes because other things came up in life... and I didn't even notice until I saw this thread.

The show is unsalvageable. It's really surreal to see a great show go so far off the tracks and become terrible like the Simpsons or Family Guy.

- Robert California has no consistency to his character. He started off as a mastermind who treated people like chess pieces and just kind of ended up a stuffy pseudo intellectual who seems to not care about what goes on ALL WITHIN HALF A SEASON!

- Storylines just happen randomly and there's no callback or resolution, like Cathy trying to sleep with Jim, Andy and Darryl fighting over Val, Dwight possibly fathering Angela's child, Robert's wife leaving him, that traveling salesman and Jordan Garfield being hired then NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN. How terrible does a show have to be to set up storylines repeatedly then just never mention them.

- Actors acting very out of character. When Stanley started saying "IN YOUR BUTT" I stared at the screen in stunned disbelief at just how horrible the show had become. They've made Kevin into a complete mental defective who could hardly be employed as an accountant, before he was just kind of weird and perverted.

I still never miss it, there's no show that's quite the flaming trainwreck that the Office is now and I watch to see what happens next and yell at the screen
