The Gosselins annoy me. Jon needs to grow a set and stop letting his wife talk down to him and belittle him.

I wonder what's the big attraction to North Carolina? As opposed to other southern states like VA, TN, SC, GA, etc? I looked into jobs in NC after I graduated from college, and found most jobs pay the same or less than they do in PA....plus the cost of living is higher in NC.

I think NC is (at least perceived as) pro-business and is creating jobs. Plus, the heat is not as extreme as places like SC, GA, FL, etc.
Regardless, people and jobs fleeing PA (and other rustbelt areas) to NC (and other sunbelt areas) should be a wakeup call to us. While we have and old infrastructure and cold winters, there are some things we can do (yes, we can do them if we so choose) to make us more competitive (improve roads, cut business taxes, fight back against ridiculous union demands).

Oh, I so agree with that statement! I don't watch the show, but the preview pieces they show in commercials all the time and they always make me want to smack that woman! Jon needs to grow a set! My boyfriend and I joke that their divorce will be inevitable and probably increase their viewership.

Those kids will definitely be in therapy someday...thrown in front of TV cameras to have their lives plastered all over TV from day one, so their parents can rake in the $$$? I think its borderline criminal...those kids are being exploited and have no chance at a normal life.

I have to say it, I really enjoy this show, or should I say enjoyed. I haven't watched it lately, but why are they moving? Why take everything these kids know away from them? Friends, family, school, church, everything. Why North Carolina? I know they like warm weather, and they want land to build on, but hey, PA has land, and snow isn't that bad. IDK... Besides, living in PA they could easily be to many different large cities and attractions, while still living in a small town. What is there really to do in NC besides the beach?
