Hey guys,
Do you get 2 episodes on Tuesdays? I'm a brit based in the UK and we get new editions each friday night with repeats over the weekend!
As to who may win. I like the large balck lady that lacked confidence in herself. Reminded me a bit of Aretha Franklin. Sorry can't remember her name.
I couldn't believe the 'diva' act from that young columbian lady before she made it!

We usually get one on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday.

This week with the finalists, A.I. will be on for three nights - one night for the girls, one for the boys, and one for the elimination. This will go on until the contestants are down to 12, I believe, then we are back to two nights.

Thanks Kitty. Just checked and we get all 3 back to back this week as well starting Friday! 4.5 hours worth!

Anyone watch tonight?

A lot of the guys whose voices I like and who I thought would perform the best, were some of the worst. I thought the whole show was sort of underwhelming. Most of the performances were just okay. The only one that I actually really liked was Blake Lewis. I really wasn't expecting a Keane song to be sung on this show. I thought Chris Sligh (aka pre-slimfast Jack Osbourne) was good but I think his schtick might get old quick. It's a fine line between funny, witty and playful teasing and coming across as rude, ungrateful and disrespectful. I'm not saying he's crossed it yet, but I feel it coming. I like Nick Pedro too. I thought they were too hard on him. I thought AJ Tabaldo was good even if his dancing was something like Snoopy's happy dance on Charlie Brown. I thought Paul Kim (bare feet) and Brandon Rogers (backup singer) would've been two standouts and they have two of the best voices I think, but they were disappointing tonight.

Okay, I thought that Chris Richardson (the "dreamy" Justin Timberlake guy) was HORRIBLE! I guess they need to keep a "pinup" in the competition or something. I don't understand it. I thought he was a mess.

Sunspot really has lost a whole lot of steam. I thought he and Sanjaya were the worst of the night (after Chris). I think it's between the two of them, or the dude Jared Cotter going home (the guy who sang "Back At One" by Brian McKnight). I thought he was good but he has an uphill battle of name/face recognition since he wasn't really profiled on the previous shows and therefore hasn't had the opportunity to build up a fanbase like some of the others, which isn't really fair.

All in all, a big BOO to the men. Bring on the ladies!

Also loved Blair or Blake?. He is my top pick. I think Paul Kim or Sundance will go home. Paul Kim seems like he has to force his voice to sound good, not as natural as others. I hated the song that Chri R. sang but he did mix it up a little and make it his own. I was very disapointed in Sanjaya.

I too thought that overall, the show sucked last night. But, it was the FIRST night, and they haven't grown yet. I am sure some of the will get better. They have to. I usually liked Sundance, but since his first audition, he has sucked. I stillhope they don't get rid of him based on last night's performance, because I think he has potential.

Last night, I thought the best was Blake Lewis-if he is indeed the "beatboxer". I knew him as the beatboxer kid, and thought that was all there was. He wasn't too bad. Interesting. And Chris I didn't think was too bad. I thought everyone else sucked. Based on last night and actual talent, I think the young brother, Sanyah or whatever his name was, has to leave. And Paul Kim or that first guy who sang.

I hope the girls are better, but I remember throughout the auditions, that the guys impressed me more than the girls. We shall see.

Well, to be very unoriginal (on my part) I have to agree with pretty much everything said so far! VERY disappointing night, that's for sure. I do get tired of the constant repartee between Paula & Simon - I hate to say it but I do generally agree with him. I don't see the point of stringing people along with false hope - and if they choose to be in a competition, they are choosing to be judged as well, so take the criticism already!

So, yeah, my favorite was Blake, I guess, too - although it was frankly hard to pick a favorite. I did think that Chris (heavy set) was OK. On a totally superficial level I think the best-looking guy was the guy compared to Brian McKnight - even Simon said he looked good, LOL. I know looks aren't supposed to matter, but let's face it - he will probably get a few votes for that alone. (and no, mine wasn't one of them )

I hope the girls do better!!
