Gary Sinise is an excellent actor - two thumbs way up!

OTOH, that redheaded guy on the Miami version is so annoying with his constant squinting and "tough guy" affectations to his voice that I can't bear to watch the show at all.

Call me a purist, but CSI, the original Vegas version, is still my fave. William Peterson fell off the face of the earth after To Live and Die in LA, and I was so glad to see his career ressurected with this show.

Same here! I can't stand him. I saw one episode where a victim had lost his memory and Horatio said: "Well don't you worry because I...." (dramatic pause while he puts on his sunglasses) "I am going to be your memory"

UGH!

CSI the original is great. I've been addicted to it ever since I saw them filming an episode during the first season in Vegas. (saw Katherine & Brass) I watched CSI Miami maybe once, don't remember if I could get through the entire episode or not, because hubby and I cannot stand David Caruso. He is so full of himself. Have watched CSI NY ever since it started. It's good, but I could do w/out the extremely loud music during the show, always reaching for the remote to turn it down. Curious to see how I'll feel about CSI Vegas since William Peterson is leaving. He truly makes the show what it is.

Sorry...my favorite show is CSI:Miami...it used to be Vegas but with all the turmoil with the cast, I lost a little bit of interest in it. Tomorrow looks GOOD but I think this is going to be the last season of the show.

Spike TV just started running CSI:NY. It was great to re-watch the episodes

I've pretty much stopped watching all the CSI's except the occasional re-run but I do prefer CSI the most. I do agree the Horatio character on Miami is a bit over the top.

The one thing that gets me about all three is they always conduct their investigations in dark rooms with flashlights. I know it makes for good TV but I think its a bit unbelievable. I'm pretty sure that you can see clues a little easier in a lighted room.
