Kill your preconceived notions...
...and stop pretending that you know what's best for everybody. Thanks.

seriously!! I don't even turn on my TV any more, not w/ all the TV shows, games, forums, websites, and other fun stuff I can find on the internet. for me, the computer replaced the TV as the idiot box years ago

My friend had a bumper sticker that read "Kill Your Television." I gather the "kill" part offended someone, because one morning my friend found that word scratched off of her truck. I guess some people are against killing, even if it is for the best.

I love my TV and it loves me. I'd go blind if I just had my computer to stare at all day and night.

this response above gets my vote for post of the week.
especially considering that in another thread, the opening post person (who tells us from his high and mighty lofty perch to kill our TV) shares with us that he watches TV himself, so I guess it's ok for him to watch tv just not anyone else

Thank god there are people like cpg in this world to tell me what to do with my free time. Otherwise I would likely just stuck in the corner of my living room and jam forks into my eyes because I don't know any better. Fight, cpg, for ever lasting peace!
