It was clever and funny but I totally missed that it was also a Sopranos spoof!

Saw that this morning in a publication...really wasn't a Sopranos fan like so many were...

Guiliani's (sp) portrayal was particularly funny.

Kate McKinnon may be the most talented person in the industry. I loved Eric parking. And De Niro!

I get chills up my spine every time I hear Don't Stop Believin'.

You may appreciate the SNL cold open even more after watching the final scene from The Sopranos:

I thought it was pretty good myself. Funny story, I visited my brother and sister-in-law when they were binge-watching the last season of Sopranos. They had no idea how it ended. So I sat there, biding my time, until the (abrupt) fade to black, and they went NUTS. You mean THAT'S IT? LOL

I so agree, McKinnon is fantastic, she does so many of the political characters and it's always wonderful to watch her in action.

I didn't get the Soprano ref as I missed the season finale, I think I stopped watching the show at some point maybe a season or two prior and just didn't tune in when it ended.

I will watch the video posted for highlight comparisons.

It was cute but I wouldnt even put it in the top 10.

I dont get the love affair with Alec Baldwin as Trump. I have seen so many better ones out there but I guess they figure they have their own in the NBC family so they just run with it. For ME the only standout was Kate McKinnon. She does Giuliani better than Rudy himself does.

I thought it was clever but I don't think its a classic by any means.
