Some of us out here watching are female. Why shouldn't I have an opinion? It's worth as much as any beer-gutted Lazy Boy jock's.
Indeed! I'm more of a football fanatic than alot of men I know (and alot more savvy about the game). Why shouldn't we then have female announcers and commentators?
Sorry guys, the day of the good ol' boys network is fading fast.
All of this has to do with slowly moving males onto the idea of female quarterbacks. Soon there will be no more bombs and no more of the "sacking" the Quarteretteback! However the male center will be the most popular position!

So, who do you think will be the first female drafted by the NFL?
What's with the female commentators on ESPN nowadays? We all loved Andrea Kramer's insighful sideline interviews, but now the Political Correctness Platoon (PCP) has invaded the press box and mandated that 50% of all words spoken "on air" come out of a lipstick-mouthed female commentator. Are ESPN, CBS, NBC and the like under threat of lawsuit? Why such a swing for a 'female' voice in football commentating?
I don't like it.
ewwww......lemme guess......your single, been shut down by many women and are over 50.

Actually, when I asked that question, it was only half-jokingly. I don't see any reason why women can't compete in any major league sport. If you can play the game, you deserve the opportunity to be out there. Yes, it would probably take some jobs away from male athletes (and the lower tier usually isn't all that great, anyway)...but overall, it would also improve the performance of the team as a whole.

Women are not physically able to compete with males in alot of sports, That isn't sexist but fact. You can have a fast strong women but she wouldn't last a minute in the NFL . You might get a softball player like Jenny Finch who can strike guys out pitching softball style, but nothing where there is physical contact.
