Yeah it was kinda good to see Pam get knocked down a peg or 2. She always has this smug arrogance about her but it's slowly fading now that Eric isn't there. And she's going to save Tara next week & show her the ropes. Maybe that will make her just a teensy bit likable. Maybe
I think this Vampire Authority is a waste of great actors (Chris Meloni, Peter Mensah). I would have loved to see these two actors in Bon Temps hunting down Russell with Eric and Bill, instead of sitting around in suits talking about Bibles and whatever else.
Was that Lorena in the scene where Bill and Eric first met (Loved that scene)? I couldn't tell.
I hate Tara's character. She was great in Season 1, but has taken a slow decline. I don't really care about her predicament.

I forgot the Round Table Vamp Authority, I thought that little kid was unintentionally hilarious -- so bad.

My only guess is that she is only part fairy, and her scent is...diluted? Might probably explain why she can't go back and forth to that...place (I dare not call it "Fairyland") at will the way Claude apparently can.
But also recall that last season, while Eric had amnesia and Sookie found him walking along a road, he asked her why she smelled so good. Up to that point no vampire had mentioned her smell and she had been around plenty of them prior.

completely agree. I'm with a lot of other folks in here that the Authority is cheesy and I don't find it to be a very interesting plot line.
They're trying to do so much this season with all these new side stories, and it seems like the characters we grew to care about the first three seasons are hardly together on screen anymore.
I miss the first few seasons when things were a lot more simple...
It is quite obvious that they can create and execute PLENTY of plotlines just using the tiny town of Bon Temps, LA as a backdrop, which is why it is so odd that they would take the show to the Vampire Authority (which I believe is in New Orleans) and widen the scope further. If anything, they should tighten the focus within Bon Temps, since they can't seem to balance the A plots, B plots, and C plots within the town.
Regarding the "Chancellors," when they decided to include a member who looks like a child, I was reminded of the character of Kenny on Highlander: a blond "kid" who looked eleven or twelve, but was actually a murderous 800 year-old immortal. Too bad the child actor on Highlander was much more convincing in his "old beyond his appearance" line delivery than the one they got for this TB role.
