I don't know for sure if it was the 20's. I just think he was wearing a suit and a fedora, and so I thought it was around that time. It didn't scream 80's to me, though. But maybe that's just because there was a lack of neon, side ponytails, and leg warmers.

Maybe it was the 90s. It couldn't have been too long ago. Sam and the mom weren't immortals. She was in her 60s? Sam has to be about 40 (I'll go with 45 Trammel's real age). I was wrong. The 80s would be too early, too. I guess 90s.

Looks good.
Thanks! That's the first real clip I've seen that shows content of season 7. It does look good. I'd say 'I can't wait', but end of June means weather here I'm not looking forward too, lol. I can wait.

Yea, it was later. Was there some other time when Sam was in a fedora? Or maybe I got the scene where he kills his GF mixed up with a flashback seen of Bill's, or something.

No, he was wearing that when he was a con artist supposedly with her, but she really had another partner and they were conning him.

It's just something he chose to wear - it was not trying to make it look like it was in the 20's.

Same ages like everyone else.

Season 6 is on-demand right now. I didn't know 'Bill' (SM) directed the first episode. He should do more - it was well-done. I remember getting annoyed last year but so far I've watched 4 epis, I think, and like it so far. Though there are some things I don't remember from season 5 that cause a minor irritation.

I wish they put that up, I'd watch the last few......oh well, HBO is free this weekend and I'm enjoying what is there!

1. Tara?! Really? I'm hoping there's a mistake.

2. I really hope the whole season is not a quest to find Eric.

3. Why are people blaming Sookie?

I thought that was really disrespectful to have Tara's death off screen. And Sookie, her best friend, was upset at first but then seemed more upset about hearing the things people were saying about her. Got mad at Alcide 's thoughts and went off in a huff through the woods and went home.

And why didn't Pam feel Tara's death because Pam was her maker? And speaking of Pam, why is she in Morocco looking for Eric when last we saw him he was sun bathing on a mountain and burst into flames. Or not....?

all in all I thought it was a good episode. Maybe Tara will come back as a ghost and talk to LaFayette.

I found Tara's death to be highly suspicious. Wasn't she winning against that infected vamp in the beginning? Then all of a sudden you heard noises in the background and her mother was kneeling on the floor with Tara's blood all over. I have a feeling she killed Tara, that's why the whole thing happened in the background.
