Oh, does anyone know why Eric's ears were bleeding when he was biting Hayley in front of the queen?
I wasn't sure about that either, but it might have something to do with vamps not sleeping. Like, they can stay up during the day as long as they aren't in daylight, but they have some "issues" if they do it. For what it's worth, the Queen's ears were bleeding too.
What happened to the Queen? Last season she was very well off, now she is sitting next to her pool with scratch-off tickets.
She owes the IRS money. She told Eric that in the first episode of this season. By marrying the King of Mississippi, he'll take care of her debts. But what's in it for him? Now obviously he doesn't love her nor is he attracted to her physically so all I can think of is that he wants a second state under his command for more power.
It's interesting that when the vampires were in Dallas no King or Queen of Texas presented themselves in the Godric incident. You would think the size and scope of the incident would have merited an appearance of vampire royalty to one of their sheriff underlings in trouble.
I still can't wait for Talbot's reaction when "Russell" walks though the door with Sophie Ann and makes his announcement. Denis O'Hare who plays Russell Edgington is a working actor. He pops up in a lot of things. I think he's really good in his role on True Blood and I look forward to the scenes he is in. Bad guys, to me, make or break a show.
It appears we are down two characters after Sunday's ep. Sad to see both of them go.
Since I haven't read the books, I'm guessing that Sookie is...
Spoiler
... some kind of Sun Goddess, able to give vampires the ability to walk about in the daytime - but if her "inner light" is given to a vampire - she dies?

Am I close?
I haven't read the book too, nor do I plan to; but I think the fairy scene in Sookie's dream is a direct clue of what she is.

That's exactly what it was - "the bleeds" as it was called last season.
wasn't it creepy when Bill entered the room and the place Sookie was in turned dark????
Yeah, it was creepy lol! Glad Lorena is gone
