That fricken commericial with the lady screaming at the CELLPHONE SPIDER. What the h*ll is the marketing idea behind that commercial. I will make sure to NEVER buy this product just because of this sick, irritating commercial. Every time it comes on I have to jump and hit the fricken mute on my remote. Who is so retarded that they think this is a way to sell something???????
This person who made this commercial needs to pay, I volunteer to "enlighten" him/her.
...the Honda Civic commercial with the zombie whose finger falls off, the idiotic ninja girl who eats licorice, the troll or whatever it is, the odd-looking Paul Bunyan lumberman guy, etc. Just the WORST. STUPID. BIZARRE.
The slogan is something like "because we're all different" so they make 5 models of the car....
Apologies if this has been voted on a zillion times but I haven't read the whole thread!
I could not agree more. In a time where deciding between carriers is pretty much a coin toss, something as simple as this type of irritant could sway me to their competition.
Lucky for them that I change the channel whenever I see this commercial come on, so I don't remember who it's for. (Defeats their purpose, huh?)
***EDIT*** I just watched the commercial with the mute button pushed and saw which carrier it was for. It figures... I really dislike that company anyway these days.
I SO agree with everybody! Especially later in the evening when it's gotten quiet outside and then this commercial comes on. I grab the remote to hit the mute!! I don't remember what carrier or phone they are hawking either and I don't care to either. I have a feeling it may be AT&T but I may be wrong too. LOL, can you tell that though I watch it in silence, I just put it out of my mind too? Yes, it does fail the purpose, at least on me too.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who can not stand that commercial.
The general idea is to make a commercial that everyone hates so they talk about it. The sponsor gets what amounts to free 'pass along'.
really--negative publicity will sell this product---and here i was thinking that this commercial and others like it were the results of too many drug users in the ad world
