"Dude, you're getting a Dell!"

His name is Ben Curtis. You can find stuff on him pretty easily on the web.

I have a problem with commercials taking popular tunes and somehow ruining them. There is a singer for a weight organization. She has a lovely voice, but she sings the lyrics of Feeling Good to a different melody. Some of the notes agree, but since, when I hear a tune I like to sing along, I cannot and find it very irritating. I shut the sound off whenever it appears. Who cares how she feels?

This commercial irritated the heck out of me when I first saw it and it still does. That's Jennifer Hudson and I am not all that crazy about her voice to begin with but the way she butchers this classic song is a travesty.

I mute this when it comes on IMMEDIATELY!

Those commercials for Phillips Colon Health. There's something about the spokeswoman that just annoys me. She proudly proclaims that she's the know-it-all when it comes to diarrhea, constipation, gas and bloating. And notice how this commercial comes on during mealtimes.

One commercial that creeps me out is those Plavix commercials where people are being followed by a gurney.

Also, those Viagra commercials showing the man and woman in separate bathtubs at the very end. Sheesh!!!

That is Cialis with the two bathtubs.

Viagra has new commercials with great background music by bluesman Howlin Wolf the song is Smokestack Lightnin' ... I don't know one thing about the product but I love that music.

VIAGRA TV Commercial - VIAGRA® (sildenafil citrate)

I agree with you about the music. I imagine Cialis and Viagra are supposed to help relieve the same thing.

There is something about commercials such as this in which the presenter is thinking, 'Look at me, aren't I great?' that is kind of cheap.

It would not come across quite that way if she sang the song straight, which is a lovely melody. If she does jazz singing and improvises a lot, she should be aware that there is a specific audience for that sort of music and a commercial of that sort should be geared to 'Joe Public' for more general appeal.

I think both are for the same problem. But I will never understand the Cialis two bathtubs ... why not one bathtub?

I do like the Viagra music on the new commercials.
