IStuff that happened in court rooms people would never get away with in real life. One of the things I'll really miss about BL is the "current events" that were written into the script. That part did make it seem more realistic.
Same here! You could never insult the judge so shamelessly or have all that popping and clicking going on in the courtroom without contempt fines all over the place - but then, that's why I loved it so. Shatner's last ringtone alone would've cost him some fines. If they were looking for an unlikely ending, that certainly was it. Was it the ending I was expecting? No. Would I like a rewrite, a resounding YES!
I must be the lone wolf....I LOVED the ending.....and the veiled insults of ABC for cancelling the show.....I think Shatner and Spader make a perfect pair
I love when they were talking about what it would be like in the future and Spader said "And you'll still be doing Priceline commercials"

I ordered boston legal season 3 on netflix before the ending. I am sending them back unwatched.
I was thinking (always trouble there), what if Spader and Shatner had a spin off of Boston Legal with Christopher Walken as a managing Partner, John Lithgow as their first maniacal cracy client, Bronson Pinchot as a paralegal, and Martin Short as Shirley's brother -- now, female actresses, Rachel Welch as Spader's sister (which would totally make sense) and Dianne Carroll as John Larrocquette's former love interest. Turn on the Tivo!!

You had me at "Christopher Walken as a managing partner"

Christopher Walken in almost anything ... except as the scientist in "Click" that was just plain weird.
