While I've enjoyed many of the shows on the list, Seinfeld is THE ONLY SHOW that I have actually retained in my brain. I must have adult ADHD or something.
The Mary Tyler Moore Show isn't on here either.
And I'm only naming that one because there are too many British shows that would beat the pants off of 7/8th of the listed ones in the polls.
I have a deep, heartfelt loathing for that show, because it used to be on the same time as The Muppet Show, so thanks to the wicked stepmother, I often missed the muppets.
My favorites
M*A*S*H
Andy Griffith Show
All in the Family
Cheers
Barney Miller
WKRP
Everyone Loves Raymond
Dick Van Dyke Show
Coach (college years)
Happy Days (early shows before Richie left)
Newhart (Best ending of any show ever)
Seinfeld
Night Court
Beverly Hillbillies, and
Green Acres
If you are going to put the Brady Bunch on the poll, shouldn't you have included the Partridge Family and Three's Company?
I Love Lucy -- I don't particularly care for it, but it did set the sitcome genre mold, which All in the Family broke 20 years later, and is still smart, still relevant, still funny.
Three's Company. Unfortunately didn't make the poll, but by all measures my favorite sitcom yet.
