Is there a children's show that you won't let your kids watch? What's the reason-too annoying, offensive, etc?

Doodlebops. Annoying, completely stupid and the music isn't even bearable to listen to.

Imagination Movers on the other hand is good stuff.

Caillou. I'm convinced all his whining and obnoxious behavior rubs off on my son. We "lost" all the Caillous off the DVR. Whew!

We watched one or two episodes of Caillou and did not like it at all. Didn't like his behavior or how the parents dealt with it. No Caillou for us.

This is in the past, and you'll all probably laugh over this one.

When my daughter was little I would not allow her to watch "The Simpsons" because I absolutely hated the disrespectful ways that the characters spoke to their parents. My kid was tough enough to raise without her getting extra boosts from a cartoon like that. When I shared this very same statement with one of her teachers she actually thanked me!

I still don't like the show, either.

I am not mentioning the cartoon on purpose for legal reasons. When my children were young I worked every Saturday while they watched cartoons with my husband. I was home one Saturday and my daughter came to the kitchen and pulled me into the livingroom to see their favorite cartoon.

I should set the stage for you here. I also taught a Sunday school class for teens and had been educated as to devil worshipping symbols to watch out for to keep the teens safe from going in that direction.

Right there on the TV screen in the cartoon my child was watching were devil worshipping symbols in the design of the drapes and scattered in other objects throughout the cartoon. I cannot tell you how that made me feel. Just be careful what your child watches because it does matter.

nope. I know I raised them well enough for them not to emulate any bad behavior and if they were to try, they'd soon be wishing they hadn't; we don't put up w/ bad behavior.

Took my kids to a Doodlebops show ... you think the tv show is annoying???? Oy!!!

My son loves Caillou, so far, none of the behavior has rubbed off, but his (it's really a girls voice btw), voice is rather grating. I won't let them watch Barney though ... it took me a good 2 years to get that music out of their system and out of my car.

Just wait until you have kids who are battling you for Hanna Montana & Drake & Josh ... ugh!!!! You'll wish you hadn't destroyed those Caillous.

Yo Gabba Gabba. I have never actually seen the show, but I watch the show Soup on E! channel and it always makes fun of that show. It looks a little creepy so we do not watch that one. Also, that show on Disney where the characters pop in and out of each other...I can't think of the name....something Heros??? That one freaks me out a little. They have no hands or feet and they pop open to let other characters out. Weird.

I reallly don't like Max and Ruby and try to change the channel before the kids know it is coming on. One of the most annoying shows on tv, do those bunnies have parents? And Ruby is so bossy, I don't want my kids to talk to each other like that.
