I noticed that Abby's appearance has been toned down on the new series. I liked her wild appearance better.It seemed to be more "her". She was more 'fun' that way.
Have I missed something? Has Ducky been on the 2 new episodes?
And it appeared to have skipped something in between the 2 episodes. They went from being captives in enemy territory, to being back at the NCIS headquarters.
I am having a problem with the new director also.

This is a great show, love the balance of humor, drama, and action in a 1-hr series. All the characters are great and should be kept. Maybe except Jimmy, I wouldn't miss him much. The new director is ok, I'm sure they have him there to provide some tension with Gibbs. I'm glad they brought back and kept Ziva. I actually like her more than Kate now and has a certain spunk and sexiness about her. I thought it was interesting when I found out she was really from Chile and not even Israeli!

Towhee, Ducky was in this week's eppie for a moment or two. I think Jimmy was sitting at Ziva's desk in the begining of the episode.

You must have missed something because Tony and MaGeek broke Ziva out of the prison they all were in in the ME. Gibbs' sniper skills of course saved the day when a baddie was about to kill one of them (or all).

Jimmy's not a BIG character but I like him and his interactions with all the team members and Ducky and Abbey.

I agree that it is a good show, however, I hate how they are so many plot holes in many of the episodes. Personally I liked Kate a bit more than Ziva, at least at first.. Even though I enjoy the humor aspect with Ziva, I believe Kate was a more realistic character. In any case I am more interested in the investigations and plot twists with the occasional story arc that classic NCIS episodes had, no so much the added drama and farfetched storylines that littered the last season and this newest one.

Anyone catch NCIS: Los Angeles by any chance? It is like everything you would cringe at in regular NCIS wrapped into a spinoff.

If you don't like NCIS for what it is...a scripted tv drama show, why don't you watch "The Real NCIS" on one of the cable channels? I forget which channel it is because I've watched only one so far. Too many scripted shows I like on now.

Personally, i love Abby and her quirkiness, she is so funny! And I simply love Gibbs and Zeva and Tony and McGee and the good doc!

I didn't care for the mole at all and could not get into her role....

I did like Kate and hated she was killed off, but Zeva is wonderful....

LOL. You bet. I am hooked on it, my sister is hooked on it, my brother in law is hooked on it, my oldest daughter and her family are hooked on it. I love Zeva and I LOVE Abby just the way she is. In fact, there isn't a single character that I don't love. And Mark Harmon is just as easy on the eyes now as he was 20 years ago. Love the show.
