Jimmy is the ME's (Duckie) assistant. You'll usually see him when they examine the body or in the morgue.
Kate was killed in a earlier season by Ari. She was then replaced with Ziva. |

Ari was another Mossad operative in this country, maine. He was Ziva's half brother. I think he played both sides of the Israeli/Arab war and Ziva shot him right between the eyes when Ari was going to shoot Gibbs down in Gibbs' basement. Tit for tat for Kate.  |

Ari worked for the Mossad but he was a double agent and was actually an agent for the Arabs. He was a heartless motorscooter. He and Ziva had the same father (who was the Mossad director at the time that all of this was going on).
I agree, the actress who portrays Ziva is excellent in the roll of an Israeli sabra. She nails the part. No one would ever think she was from anywhere but Israel.
Love the show. Oh, and Ducky's character's real name is Doctor Donald Mallard....that's where "Ducky" comes from. LOL. He is still the cutest thing. I loved him in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Thanks, Tami and Ketabcha! That clears it up for me. I didn't want to start watching another show, but stumbled on NCIS and got hooked. I guess there are a lot worse things to get hooked on than TV shows!  |

Anyone catch last nights episode of NCIS? Pretty good stuff they are doing with Ziva don't cha think?
It was weird to see Tony and McGee out working without Ziva so maybe she will continue to win back their trust again.
Next weeks show looks awesome! She gets a huge 'rejected' on her application as an NCIS officer....this will be one heck of a great show
Thanks to this show, I just ordered a DVR, it seems there are so many things I miss in the first viewing...
