It still seems that Gibbs is a little hesistent to bringing Ziva back as a NCIS agent. He didn't seem to eager to sign her application. Guess he still does not trust her 100% yet. I never watched it from the start neither, but wish I did. Great show. One of the few, if not the only, weekly drama that I enjoy.

I watched it and saw that Gibbs was hesitant and that next week Ziva gets a rejection sticker! Remember someone here said they wondered if she was being a double agent now? Maybe NCIS is also wondering, as is Gibbs.

I really like McGee. He's too funny, especially when he's sparring with Tony....I'm glad I finally "discovered" this show!

Favorite network drama program, one of the very few viewed on a regular basis. Some minor gripes, though.Tonys adolescent behavior is starting to wear a bit thin, would like to see him reconcile with that nice lady doctor and grow up.Not real fond of the new director,Leon, really liked Jenny(Lauren Holly) and did not like to see her killed off.Mixed feelings on the Kate vs. Ziva subject.Liked Gibbs earlier love interest with Lt. Col. Mann (Susanna Thompson) and would have liked to have seen her character developed.A semi-regular in and out character I like is FBI Agent Fornell (Joe Spano),the man that married one of Gibbs ex wives.

Whatever happened to Lt. Col. Mann btw? She didn't get killed off did she? I liked their rapport with each other. Yeah, we need some Fornell time again. I don't think we'll ever see Dr. Benoit again. Her dad was too big an enemy even though I don't think she had a clue. I'd like to see Gibbs' "boss" come back from Mexico again for a "visit". I like hearing Gibbs being called "probbie".

I like Gibbs 'boss' in Mexico myself .....This season's shows have a different feel to them, not quite sure what it is yet, but different. Less action maybe? Could be they are trying to give LA a chance, but it just feels a bit off kilter....They need some action.
I do love the way McGee's character is evolving. He has toughened up a bit and it suits him.
Ziva's character shows her uncertainty but she has to have some glimpses of the old Ziva soon...and
Jimmy Palmer seems to have regressed a bit...dunno what is up with that....
Gibbs seems more introspective than normal, a bit softer for some reason, not his character at all.
Abby seems to be right on target and so does the good Dr. Mallard.
The director, hmmm, there is still a mystery surrounding him for sure.

NCIS on Tuesday, 17 November
The theme on NCIS this week was about losing electricity and having to work the old-fashioned ways. There were several references to old TV police shows that old broads like me remember very well (Kojak's tootsie pop, for instance.) In some scenes - the one I recall was when they found the trailer full of electronics - there was background music (like "ba-doom") that I recognized from some old show. Did any of you see it and recognize that music?
Thanks!
