I think it's very possible we'll see an Adam/Danny final 2. Adam is the bad boy and Danny reminds the little tweenies of their Daddy or the camp counselor at Church camp... What Simon said in the TV guide article is BECAUSE Danny is "safe" he will win. But it sounds like he wants Adam to win.

A little Monday Morning quarterbacking here -- IMHO - ALL women fall for a James Dean/bad boy type at least once in their lives (some of us even marry -- and divorce them.) There's just sumpn sumpn about them. BUT at the end of the day, we really want to marry the good guys for the long haul. (Not that much different with you guys, right? You love playin' with the bad girls, but you want to take the nice girls home to mommy...) So Adam may get that bad boy vote from a lot of the tweenies during AI, but they could easily turn on him at the end and give it to church boy. We are looking at talent, song choice, staging, confidence, notes, pitch, flow, charisma. The trillion-fingered tweenies are looking at: "OMG!! HE'S SO BAD! HE'S SO CUTE! HE'S SO OMG" Adam could get up there and completely blow a song, and they'd vote for him. Same with Danny. They didn't hear the note we did. And if their parents heard the note and commented negatively, then they voted FOR Danny. Ahh, just what we need. Tweenies running the music world. Off with their Cell Phones! Block their calls! Bandage their texting thumbs! THEN we'll see who the real winner is. But we'd have to go back to the top 50 to find out. Ricky Braddy vs Adam, probably

I just had a deja vu shudder... what if Tatiana had made it this far... YIKES! LOL

Adam is a good guy playing the bad boy... I think everyone can see that he is a goody goody at the core... So technically he should appeal to both - those inclined to love bad boys and those inclined to love good boys.

I just REALLY don't get why people on this thread keep saying that Danny gets the sympathy vote or that he's being kept around b/c his wife died. It seems like the only ones who bring that up are the folks who say it. He certainly doesn't and after the 1st week or two, neither did AI. (or should that be AI didn't either? ugh - grammar)

I agree completely. It's easy to see just how nice he is even though he plays the bad boy on stage perfectly. His duet with Allison really showed that too. He was very careful not to overpower her. Unlike a certain other contestant tried to do to puppies and rainbows.

I don't know what they're singin' next week but Kris is gonna bring it and Adam better bring it too because if this thread is upset about tonight, just think what it'd be like if Adam Ant got voted off? Hey! It could happen.
You're looking at this from an adult point of view. Which is all well and good, but most of the voters are traditionally teens and preteens and they could care less if Kris has a "pure voice" or not. They like showmanship and they're going to vote for who is most appealing to them on that level. In addition, a lot of 30/40+ women love Adam and he's got them in his corner also.
