You're welcome. Have a great time in SD. And if you stalk Adam, um, I'm mean happen to run across the hotel....well, pics???
Here is Danny's hometown footage.
Danny Gokey: Jamar Rogers Reunites with Milwaukee's American Idol Danny Gokey - WITI (http://www.fox6now.com/shows/fox/americanidol/dannygokey/witi-090508-gokey-jamar,0,428034.story - broken link)
Ohhhhhhhh! Yay! I can't decide whether to go to NC or Atlanta. Hmmmmm. Are they typically sold out?
I guess it depends on what city they are in and whether one of the idols is from that city. Last year here in Tulsa they were not sold out and I got my ticket two days before and was on the second row on the side by the stage. Of course I only bought one ticket so maybe that is why it was the great locaton of the seat. It was sold out in Salt Lake last year as my kids went, but that could be due to the fact that it was Archuletta's home state.
They go on sale today to general public at 10am.
Sometimes if you wait you get better seats, due to the fact that others that were presold to for instance American Express....are then released.
Here's article and short video of Adam at Mount Carmel HS. I love the teen's comment at the end, "OMG, I can't believe he said that." He sang "Black and White" but hard to hear due to crowd noise. Singer Lambert 'idolized' at his alma mater
And, Thank you R_Cowgirl for letting me relive Janis Joplin a little! I saw her live twice in NYC back in '69 and '70.
I was close to the stage and she would drink her Southern Comfort from the bottle every once and a while.
Thanks Chickrae for the info. I would think the NC one may sell out since Anoop is from there so maybe I should stick with Atlanta. I'm just not sure how many tickets to buy since my little Jedi isn't as thrilled with AI as my little Rockstar is. But, I do want great seats. What to do. What to do???
Here is some Saturday morning beautiful adorableness for your viewing pleasure. I can't believe how different he looks as a blond!
OMG OMG I mean, he is handsome as a blond and all, but what a difference !!!! In just short 7-8 years, this tentative duckling turned into a beautiful swan! Lol at the tired audience - they didn't run to him with their bras then !!! I also can see the wisdom of waiting for all these years, to thicken his skin, and to get more experience.... because this blond boy could crumble in AI, just like others did in the Hollywood weeks and on.
And boy oh boy, no one could see the dark forces working on the birth of Dark Lord Screamanova then!
Mookster thanks for that video. I think I like him with dark haiir but needless to say his voice was amazing then as it is now. Wow, I got chills hearing that.
Well if you don't minding going to A.I. tour alone, you can always get a better seat if you are only buying one ticket. It's not as fun but I went last year alone and the lady next to me was alone also. I was a big David Cook fan and she was for Jason Castro (who I didn't care for) but we still got along ha ha
