Premiered on A&E this past Thursday against Grey's Anatomy, but they are rerunning the show on the weekends. I watched it Saturday. It was great!
In a nutshell: Gnarly veteran FBI agent trains New Guy to be gnarly too.
It's well written and Swayze grabs the role by the balls (can I say balls?) and rips it for all it's worth . He's angry and gritty and a loose cannon. All my favorite character traits in a cop show lead role.
New Guy seems to have potential, and he had his moments, but I will be expecting more from his character in the future. There is a love-interest angle they threw in with New Guy and his neighbor, Pretty Blond, that I think they could do without for now. I would rather see more character development with him, aside from obvious girlfriend-vs-job issues.
It grabbed my interest immediately and held me through the whole show. Of course I am a crime-show junkie so I was preconditioned to love it already. Still, I think it's a keeper. There is a twist at the end but I won't spoil it for those of you who are Tivo enabled.
Another waste of time for me. Patrick Swayze is right up there with Rosie O'Donnell and Roseann Barr - a waste of perfectly good air. After 15 minutes I found the new Geico commercial more entertaining - which itself is very sad.
Well being an A&E show it will repeat all over the place. We will have plenty of time to ingest it. I became weary of it because of the Heavy Commercial Pressure thrown at us during other programming and in between them. If it's really that good, it would sell itself.
The Jury is Still Out on this one. Must review the evidence.
Saw the second episode last night. I enjoyed watching it later at night, because on the Saturday afternoon re-run they bleeped all the swear words, which is distracting to me.
The multiple story lines keep it interesting. There's the the main solve-the-crime primary line, along with several sub- story lines continuing on into the next episodes.
