Best sitcom ever
No offense to the orig, just wanted to include some of the "biggies" I think should've been on there and allow for "other" options...

Voted for Mary Tyler Moore. But to this day I can burst out laughing while watching Golden Girls. I keep that a secret.
Also want to give a nod the the bar mitzvah episode of Frasier. Frasier but no Cheers.
And no Andy Griffith? That show and the ability to purchase sweet tea are the only two remaining tests of a communities Southernness.

"Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister" .
Then I would say "M.A.S.H", "Seinfeld", "Blackadder", "Third Rock from the Sun", "Grace under Fire", " 2 Point 4 Children" ( UK version), "The Thin Blue Line", "Ellen" , "The Drew Carrey show"etc...

Forgot Andy Griffith, pardon
To me this is easy. All in the Family. As funny and intelligent as it was ground-breaking and one of the very few sitcoms to have "believable" characters (no small part of its greatness).
Most modern sitcoms today are pathetic IMO. Totally unoriginal and often seriously weak humour-wise as well. (I won't even get into having a big zero on the believability scale...) Curb Your Enthusiasm is a notable exception, I think, as is The Office.

All in the Family. Some of the funniest moments in TV history are the battles between Archie and Meathead!
