As a loyal watcher of Hell's Kitchen, it's a refreshing contrast to the personality of Gordon Ramsey. This guy isn't as mean. He's more calm. But he has that...presence. He lets them make their own mistakes and get screwed from them. I think I'll tune in next week. I probably don't have anything better to do anyways.
What was up with the salamander(sp?) oven falling off the wall then the glass oven door shattering and the lights went out I was thinking it was a set-up but nothing was ever said about it again.
It was a little boring but there is nothing better on so I'll watch it again
I didn't get to watch. After reading the replies here, though, I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about it lol. I might try to catch it next time just to see what it's like.

I agree, it is a "refreshing contrast" to Hell's Kitchen. I'll keep watching, I liked it better. Also, the one pair who got saved, because the other pair quit, really should have been fired because of the food service. That "waiter" defending himself for chatting it up with the customers instead of getting the food out is an idiot and fool. Anyone who has ever worked in the restuarant industry knows you always, always get the food out ASAP. Duh! I'm pretty sure any and all customers would agree!!
