Commercials you hate
There use to be a thread like this awhile ago but I think it's time to renew it. What leads me to this thought is the new McDonalds add for their fish filet sandwich. I swear, after watching this awful ad, I could NEVER eat another McDonalds fish sandwich. Heck, I may never be able to eat fish at all again.

I hate the Geico commercials. The stupid Gecko/Geico thing and the accent annoy me to no end. Don't like the cavemen, either. I also hated Herbal Essences shampoo commercials where the women moaned while shampooing.

I'm tired of all of the pharmaceutical commercials. Erectile dysfunction (love trying to explain this stuff to curious children), prostate enlargement, birth control, menstrual cyles, gastrointenstinal problems etc. All of the drugs they advertise to treat these things have a list of side effects that are worse than what ails you. May cause drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, headaches, dizziness, blurry vision, loss of sleep, dryness of the mouth, a coat of fur, fangs, claws and a desire to howl at the moon...do not take if you have a heart condition, history of asthma, high blood pressure, or an uncle who was a werewolf.
Had to sit through a KY commercial tonight at dinner...we've come a long way from the Jolly Green Giant and Keebler elves.
That and the charity commercials where some well fed actor is standing beside a starving child laying on the guilt trip for donations. He'll tell me..."For the price of a cup of coffee you can feed this child for a week you selfish slob, what kind of an animal are you?" Since when did coffee become the new benchmark for currency anyway? Next time I fill up my gas tank I'll see if I can pay the clerk with 10 cups of coffee.

I'm going to throw in the fAVORITE along with the least favorite:
Favorite - is the baby and now two babys trading stock with e-trade on a blackberry
Least favorite: Sham wow and now the chopper thingy, both advertised by the same sickening guy

The first commercial I thought of too, was the McDonalds fish sandwich. I can't stand it, and I saw it twice during American Idol last night!
I see that fish plaque on the wall and all I think about is The Sopranos.  |

Stupid insurance commercials are an annoyance. How do you explain to a 7 year old the purpose of a vibrator? Oh yea, for massages - sure, that's it.

The Geico gecko I could handle. But that stack of moeny with eye in the new Geico commercial- hate it!
I don't think I've seen the Mcdonald's fish commercial- but bet that I will notice it now and it will make me crazy....LOL.
Speaking of which- how about that Jitterbug commercial? That tune.....it drives me crazy.

The stupid Geico commercials with the googly eyed money and that "someones watching me" song. I actually do like that song, the older version that is.
Geico commercials have gotten worse over the years.
